Iczel Katz is a launch strategist and business coach who couples her expertise at creating simple, effective processes with the ASK Method? to successfully grow her clients’ businesses.
Iczel’s self-proclaimed “meandering past” took her from Guatemala to the United States and back and forth again at a young age. She has BA degrees in English and American Literature and Culture, as well as a master’s degree in Public Policy. Her work history includes extensive experience in a number of industries, from management to entrepreneurship to consulting with non-profits.
Then her brother-in-law, the manager of a coffee cooperative in Guatemala, asked her to help him bring his cooperative’s coffee to the United States and sell directly to the consumer.
42,000 pounds of coffee beans arrived, and Iczel had to figure out how to sell it.
That led her to dive into the world of marketing and branding, and eventually to the ASK Method — and to her next career. She now helps others analyze and segment their markets and then create a tailored experience for each different audience segment.
Iczel has found her sweet spot in helping mission-driven experts with an audience and a proven product or service build a bridge between the two. “There is a need, and there is a solution, and they just haven’t figure out the right or the most efficient path,” Iczel explains.
For example, one of her clients purchased the foreign rights to a successful book and wanted to translate it and publish it in Norwegian. Not only did Iczel need to design a launch funnel, she had to do it all in another language — and in a country with unique constraints.
This experience resulted in Iczel gaining an even greater familiarity with the ASK Method. “I had to explain to her why we’re doing it this way and why it needed to be translated a certain way,” she says. As a result, “I needed to know it even better because I needed to explain it to somebody else.” ?
That deep understanding has paid off. Her clients achieve:
- Clarity of purpose
- Evergreen funnels that build businesses, fast
- Positive ROI
Iczel’s client list includes authors, subject matter experts, course creators and more. The one commonality: They are all driven by a larger sense of purpose beyond financial success.
She explains, “I’d rather work on a difficult problem that I know is going to have an impact than an easy problem that is going to make no difference. I know where I come from, and I know the people that I grew up with. I’m very aware that there’s stuff that has to get better. And if it’s going to get better, I need to work on it.”
Iczel’s insatiable curiosity and wide range of work experience helps her see things from different angles. Her approach is to jump right in, immersing herself in her client’s world. She asks the tough questions in order to see the bigger picture — and the path to success — clearly.
“I never assume anything,” she says. “I’m always asking: ‘What do you mean? How does that work?’” she says. “I pay attention and I notice everything.”
Her next step is where her true superpower kicks in: She takes all those disparate pieces of ?information and distills them into the most important elements, bringing clarity and a path forward. And when her clients have clarity and they understand the path, they are able to take action.
“I find a lot of people just don’t have that focus,” she says. “It’s one of the key things that I do for my clients when I work with them.”
Iczel is not only an expert at creating simple, effective strategies, but also in accountability. She’s the coach her clients love to hate: “People tell me that I make them do things… If you need me to do things, I’ll make you do things! That’s one of the things I get blamed for.”
Iczel brings a wide breadth of entrepreneurial and management experience, launch strategy, Facebook ad strategy, and a deep understanding of the ASK Method.
Here are just a few of her accomplishments using the ASK Method:
- 10,0000+ books sold, sending the book into its second printing
- Up to 281% return on Facebook ad spend to cold traffic
- The creation of two evergreen funnels to generate consistent revenue
Subject matter experts, authors, and other mission-driven entrepreneurs will find a kindred soul in Iczel. She will help you get your message in front of the right audience in the right way, for maximum impact. ?
